Offered for sale is this fine quality oak writing desk / hall table measuring 42" wide and just over 18" deep. This fine quality table is a superb mellow golden oak colour. The top is of figured/burr oak above shaped carved supports with original brass and ceramic castors. The two drawer fronts are of pollard oak with ebony and boxwood stringing and satinwood crossbanding. The table has a makers plate to the back - W.Whiteley, London. It is in excellent showroom condition having been sympathetically cleaned, polished and waxed.
