Offered for sale is this good quality 1920's Chippendale style mahogany bookcase. It has a dentil cornice above a flame mahogany strip and two astragal glazed doors enclosing one fixed and four adjustable shelves and stands on cabriole supports with a carved frieze and carved shoulders above ball and claw feet. The back is solid mahogany panels consistent with the superior quality of this piece. It measures 1.78m tall, 1.2m wide and 0.38m deep with a maximum book depth of 0.28m. The bookcase has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished and is in excellent showroom condition.
