Offered for sale is this good set of twelve George 1st style dining chairs consisting of ten single chairs and two carvers and dating from the late part of the 20th century. The chairs have a burr walnut yoke shaped back rail with vase shaped centre splat The carvers have shepherd crook arms. All chairs have waisted and shaped seats with a profiled top edge and drop-in seats above cabriole supports with shell carved shoulders and ball & claw feet. The chairs are in excellent showroom condition havine been cleaned, revived and waxed with the seats newly reupholstered in a gold fabric.
