Arts and crafts oak dining chairs. Offered for sale is this good set of six antique arts and crafts oak dining chairs. The set consists of two carvers and four single chairs with a shaped back rail and centre splat inlaid with chequered banding above newly reupholstered drop-in seats on square tapered supports with squab feet. The chairs are in excellent showroom condition with all joints firm, no breaks and the woodwork cleaned, revived and waxed. The seats have been reupholstered in a John Lewis fabric. The chairs date to the latter end of the Arts and Crafts movement/ Edwardian period C - 1910.
