Offered for sale are is this fine quality set of six Victorian mahogany Chippendale style dining chairs. The chairs have a finely carved yoke shaped back rail above a carved and pierced centre splat, the outer uprights with fine gadrooned/rope carving above newly reupholstered drop-in seats covered in a gold and cream John Lewis fabric and on cabriole supports with carved shoulders and ball and claw feet. The chairs are in superb original condition with all joints firm no breaks or damage and have been cleaned, revived and hand wax polished - they are in excellent showroom condition. These are a substantial chair with a large seat - typical of their design.
