Description
Fine quality set of eight Art Nouveau oak dining chairs consisting of six single and two carvers. The chairs have a shaped back rail with crisply carved leafs above vertical slat backs containing a fretted carved styilised shape and with drop-in seats reupholstered in a wine and gold fabric and on square tapered and shaped supports with stub feet.DateArt Nouveau :

DimensionsCarvers 44.5" high and 20" wide.
Single 43.5" high and 17.5" wide.
ConditionThe chairs are in excellent condition with newly reupholstered drop-in seats. The two carvers are later copies but exceptionally well made and only visible on close inspection by an informed observer. Copying chairs is a very expensive process and only normally carried out for high quality items.
