Description

Superb Rare Antique Regency Burr Elm Teapoy Table and dating from around 1820. Constructed from Burr Elm it has a squared edge to the twin sectioned top which raise to reveal a mahogany lined interior with two tea caddy sections to one side with original covers ( the zinc linings having been removed) and to the other side an open compartment for the mixing bowl. It does have its original locks but unfortunately their is no key. It stands on a single turned support with carved tulip Lappet on a Quadra form base on squat bun feet.
