Description

Good clean 18th century George 3rd oak dresser and original rack in basically un-touched condition. The base with three proper drawers across the top front with 3 dummy drawers down the middle and large cupboards to either side. The doors with nice fielded moulded panels. The drawers have their original pine linings with inlaid diamond shape walnut escutions. The base stands on its original tall, nice shaped bracket feet. The brass fret handles are old replacements.

The original rack is a pleasing shape with all the original painted back boards. 3 shevles with alcove type top section with nice shape corncie to the top. The top fits to the base with original dowels.

The dresser is in good condition and is a pleasing colour with good patination and waxed finish.

SIZE 65" wide by 19" deep by 82" high overall. Base height is 37" from the floor.
