Fine & Rare 18th Century Scottish Snuff Pot

Description
FINE and RARE dated 18th century Scottish bone and silver snuff pot. This is lovely shape piece of 18th century Scottish treen. All made of bone with silver plate to the top and silver hinge. The top is marked "DICKSON 1773). The lid has its original cork interior and the hinge is in good order. The silver parts are not hallmarked so could be white metal but I am pretty sure they are silver. This is slight old damage to one side of the lid but this is old and doesn't detract from what is a rare dated Scottish snuff.SIZE 2 1/4" by 2" by 2 3/4" high
