17th Century Oak High Back Hall Chair

Description
Period 17th century oak high back pegged hall chair in reasonable condition for its age. Nice design with the heart shaped cut out to the top. The legs have been built up slightly in Georgian times at the bottom and it may have had another bar in the back in the middle originally. Apart from that a nice honest chair with original crusty finish. Been waxed once and came up beautifully. In-expensive for such an early chair.SIZE 18" across the front by 14" deep. Overall height is 47". From the ground to the seat is 17 1/2".
