Description

Good 19th century French tortoise-shell and ormulu mounted mantel clock in very good original, un-touched condition. The case is all veneered in red tortoise-shell and is all original with no repairs. All the ormulu mounts are gilded. The dial is white enamel. The clock has an 8 day movement, striking on a gong on the hour and half hour. The clock has been professionally cleaned and the movement serviced so it is in full working order. The movement is stamped with a Paris makers mark.
