Description

Large 18th century George III Chippendale library arm chair. This chair is basically 18th century but has been "through the mill" a bit in Victorian times. Very generous, large proportions. Carved cabriole front legs with very nice ribbon carved back. Large nicely shaped scroll arms. The top rail of the back is also very nicely carved.

The chair has had some restoration in Victorian times and has also been re-polished at the same time. I am also not convinced the front legs were originally part of this chair.

Really just a very nice furnishing piece that isn't overly expensive for what it is.

SIZE 26" across the front, 20" deep, 39" high
