Description

FINE and RARE late 18th century George III copper and brass plate warmer with cabriole legs. This is a very rare type in copper and brass rather than the usual Irish type mahogany ones. It is in very good condition for its age and also is a great colour as it hasn't been over-cleaned and as such has a lovely patina.

I have included a picture of a similar example from the Domestic Metalware book which as you can see is also described as rare and unusual in copper and brass.

The set of 12 plates is also included but a couple of them are chipped.
