Description

Fine late Regency rosewood veneered tea caddy in completely original condition. The box is a sarcophagus shape with original turned bun feet and original turned side handles. The box has a nice shape mother-of-pearl escution with original working lock and key. The inside of the box is all original with two tea boxes and original cut glass mixing bowl. The box retains a good colour with original patination. There is one very small chip off the edge beading on the underneath of the lid at the right hand side otherwise the box is in very good condition.
