Early 3 Part Scottish Wemyss Honet Pot Set

Description
Good early Scottish Wemyss ware 3 part square honey pot, lid and tray decorated in the wonderful bees pattern. This is a totally original 3 part set, all stamped the same. The painting is extremely good with fantastic detail. Very good condition except for a professional restoration to the thistle knob at the top. Both pieces are stamped with the early impressed Wemyss mark, the green painted Wemyss mark and the T Goode retailors mark. SUPERB.SIZE The tray is 7 1/2" square. The pot is 5 1/4" square. 4" high overall including the thistle.
