Late 19th century three piece jardiniere,c1900.The planter has a design of cherubs and griffin type mythical beasts with twin handles featuring cherub faces.The main column has a feature of rams heads and flowers and the base has a feature of lions heads.There are no maker's marks on this piece,but it is very similar in style to Mettlach.No major damage,but the base pedestal has been affixed to the column,so only the planter is removable.Height - 46inches.Diameter of pedestal base - 14inches.Diameter of planter - 13inches.DateLate 19th Century
