A pair of cold cast bronze panels of Scenes From the Life of St Francis of Assisi by artist Judith Bluck(FRBS).1974.Judith Bluck(1936 - 2011)was a British sculptor known for her large scale public works in a variety of materials,but most notably in bronze and brick. Bluck won both bronze and silver medals from the Societe des Artistes Francais in Paris. These two panels are believed to be all that remains of a public art commission in 1974 of six panels illustrating events from the life of St Francis of Assisi. In excellent condition. Length 39.5cm.Width 15.5cm Depth 4cm.Both panels have Bluck's signature on the bottom of the panel. (C5 SM)
