Late 19th century Vienna handpainted enamel box,c1880. Features a handpainted enamel scene on the lid of period costumed ladies and gentlemen with musical instruments in a countryside setting. All around the exterior of the box features a handpainted enamel scene of period costumed ladies and gentlemen in a countryside setting. The interior of the box features handpainted enamel abstract design. On the exterior of the box is a white metal mount that enables the box to close tightly. In excellent condition, no damage or restoration. Measures 5.5cm x 4cm x 2.3cm.
