Victorian ladies hand painted silk and wood fan.Features a hand painted scene of leaves,ferns,a beetle,a butterfly and an Italian Greyhound dog,c1880.In good condition,some slight wear on the silk where it is attached to the ribs.The guardstick & gorge is ebonised wood with gilding decoration.No tears or major damage to the silk.Fan measures when open - 63cm.Length of guardstick - 34cm.DateVictorian
