Description

This is an elegant Vintage Silver Plated "Queen Anne" Table Lighter. The lighter is oval with a silver plated part reeded and beaded base. The lighter can be removed from this using the screw on the underside for filling, changing flints etc.

The lighter was made in Surrey, England by Ronson as part of their Varaflame range and dates to around the 1960s/70s. The "Queen Anne" was a very popular model at the time and is now widely collected.

Condition is good with no significant plate loss, no dings or dents and just the superficial surface wear that has to be expected with use and the passage of time. The lighter is in working condition and sparks readily when clicked. It just needs filling with lighter fuel. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The lighter is 8.2cm / 3.2ins long, 4.1cm / 1.6ins wide and stands 5.5cm / 2.1ins high. It weighs 410g / 14.4oz.

The underside of the base is marked Ronson and Made in England and the underside of the lighter also has the Varaflame brand name.
