Description

This is a stylish Art Deco Silver Plate Serving or Entree Dish. It is oblong with indented sides and stepped rims to the base and the lid. The dish has handles on the sides of the lid so that it can either be used as a single lidded dish or the lid can be turned upside down and it can be used as two open dishes.

The dish has no makers' mark but is stamped E P N S for silver plate and Made In England, which dates it to after 1921.

Condition is very good with no significant plate loss and just the superficial wear and tear that you would expect with use and the passage of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The serving dish measures 28cm / 11ins by 19.7cm / 7.7ins and stands 6.4cm / 2.5ins high with the lid in place. It weighs in at 1.21kg / 42.9oz.
