Description

PLANT FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY

This is a striking Mid-Century Silver Plate Planter. The planter is shaped as an upside down acorn with a galleried top rim and bark effect decoration around the lower part of the body. It stands on three leaf and pad feet.

The planter is British made from around the 1950s/60s and has a makers' mark of a letter H in a circle, which so far we have been unable to identify.

Condition is generally good with just a few shallow creases in the body and some minor plate loss but still looking very stylish. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The planter is 16cm / 6.3ins high and 14cm / 5.5ins in diameter. It weighs 454g / 16oz.

The underside of one foot is stamped with the letter H in a circle and British Make but as per above we have as yet been unable to identify this maker.
