Buchanan and Laing (Prima Finds)

Description

An unusual design large three tier vintage drinks or cocktail trolley/bar cart. designed to provide plenty of storage for bottles decanters and glassware as well as offer a large and high level service platform. We understand this was originally acquired from Italy in the 1970's although we have not been able to reference any specific designer/manufacturer. It is however a high quality and substantial example of this type of furnishing. The frame we assume is steel (hollow tube and square section) for the most part bent and welded and then chrome plated. the individual tiers are made from glass, the top is clear the centre is black (coated) and the base tier , mirrored. The mobility is provided by four mounted double wheels. We have endeavoured to provided detailed photos to show the various aspects to the design, as well as provide images for scale, this certainly is no shrinking violet, it is an entertainment showpiece.

Overall the cart stands 1 metre high, the overall diameter is 56cm or 67 cm if one includes the two side rings for individual bottle storage.

The condition is excellent, very minor signs of use and no breaks nor damage to repor
