Buchanan and Laing (Prima Finds)

Description

An Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver and hand-cut crystal square table scent bottle, having a hand-chased round mount with scrolling floral decoration, a push lid over a silver neck collar, an original internal stopper, and hand-cut crystal main body in the Hobnail pattern. Assay marks for London 1909, Makers Mark DL (Schindler & Co).

The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver and crystal scent bottle are height 12 cms (4 3/4 inches), and base is 6 cms by 6 cms (2 3/8th inches).

This example of Edwardian craftsmanship is in very good condition, a nick to the underside edge of the base being the only issue, otherwise the crystal is bright and has no surface scars. the top is as one would expect of a 114 year old perfume bottle.
