Buchanan and Laing (Prima Finds)

Description

A large trumpet vase dating from the early 20th century circa 1910. It has an original red leather covered and weighted bottom . Excellent proportions and designed to be a functioning vase capable of containing a good bouquet of flowers. This is a silvered vase (high polished pewter), polished and of the typical Arts and Crafts hammered/ planished form.

As the base is filled and covered there are no marks evident, however we consider this to be of a premium quality, heavy guage metal and beautifully finished.

Condition is excellent, it has been cleaned but is free from any faults , damage or repair.

It stands 23 cm high (9 inches just over) 15 1/2 cm diameter at the lip ( 6 inches just over) the base is 11 1/2 cm diameter (4 1/2 inches).
