Antique Driving Glasses / Goggles by Negretti and Zambra Of London / Very Rare


An early 20th century example of what I believe to be driving goggles. 

This example by the world renowned scientific equipment maker Negretti and Zambra of London. 

Negretti and Zambra are well known for the production of measuring equipment in addition to opera glasses and this rare example of driving goggles. 


The goggles are still in good wearable condition and appear mainly unused. 

The wire frames are not bent and even the mesh type material sides are free from any damage.

Wonderful green coloured lenses so clearly meant for use outside in sunny conditions rather than for protection when working on scientific studies. 

Still In the original leather bound travel case box.

Condition - Good 

The box lid flap has detached so could do with being stitch back.
