Description: Sculpture in flowered alabaster later transformed into a lamp depicting a powerful panther.
The posture is engaging with the hind legs bent, tail stretched downwards and the body in an oblique position, while it climbs up a cave, later transformed into a place for a lamp.

The jaws are wide open and show the animal's teeth.

Conditions: Good condition.

Provenance: 19th century France.
