Description

A Delightful South Staffordshire 18th Century Bilston Enamel Patch Box with Motto "A Trifle from Manchester".

With White Ground and White interior and Mirror. Motto has been transfer printed which was the usual printing process at the time for these motto boxes. The other decoration would have been hand painted.

Mirror intact, and no cracks to enamel just patches of light crazing throughout.
Some light wear to the transfer print around the Motto.
Overall in good condition.
