Quality Antique Tortoiseshell Purse made circa 1870. Tortoiseshell casing with brass hinge and clasp, and Gold inlaid vacant cartouche. Original silk lining.Possibly French in origin, the purse measures 7 x 4 x 1,5 cm.
Overall in excellent condition with no damage to the tortoiseshell or the silk lining. Good strong hinge and clasp.
