Description

Stunning late Victorian cut-glass large perfume bottle, of square swirl form with a solid silver pierced frame. Hinged domed lid, pierced and embossed decoration.

The hinged cover has an intricate embossed scene. The cover also has a push-button to the front to release the hinged top. The silverwork to the neck of the bottle has one of Comyns trademark designs.

The diameter of base measures approx 9.5cm and stands 11.5cm high.

Fully Hallmarked on both hinged cover and within the pierced silverwork for London 1896 by William Comyns.

In excellent condition the hinge and pierced silverwork is in perfect condition. Oustanding quality. This is William Comyns at his very best
