A beautiful rare English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver novelty "bear" pepper pot by the silversmiths William Vale & Sons and with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1909. Lovely quality example, excellent detail with original pull-off pierced silver lid.

Measures approx 2.1 inches (53mm) in height x 1.25 inches (32mm) wide and 1.25 inches deep.

In very good condition with no nasty knocks or dents, a tiny nick on the crease of one foot but nothing that detracts.
