A fantastic and original French Country Pine Cupboard Armoire, dating from 1880.In wonderful solid condition throughout, with delightful writing to the drawers. Elegant and simple proportions.
Two beautiful gothic panelled doors open to reveal an extensive network of wooden hooks and changing rail. Two drawers to the base, benefiting from original brass escutcheons.
Provenance: Brittany, found in a demolished Church Vestry, with initials "RK" inscribed along with "Floire" & "Winstre".
