17thc carved oak Wainscott chair. Carved back panel featuring leaves and flowers with scroll work design, plain seat and arms, turned front supports with wooden stretchers. The seat has added wooden wedges for support underneath and iron bars let in either side.Date18th Century :

DimensionsApprox. 41" high x 25" wide x 20.5" deep. 20.5" across the seat between arms, 14" deep. Carved seat back 12" high from seat, space between the arms at back 17.25". Height to seat 17.75".
ConditionGood condition for age, some losses, old repairs, splits, scuffs, scratches, marks, etc. Good colour.
