A fine example of an 18thc English hunting sword with antler grip and marked silver guard. Silversmith marks for John Holland, London 1740.The blade has traces of an etched pattern, possibly a makers mark.DateMid 18th Century :

ConditionIn good condition for age. Silver marks show signs of wear. The blade has some pitting consistent with age.
