Description
A Norwegian Silver Beaker, maker's mark DK, assay master AL, also bearing the mark MP conjoined (gothic script), Bergen 1779. The flared body wrigglework engraved with foliage and with rings for pendants (now missing), corded girdle and on a domed foot. Formerly the property of Hon. Simon Howard and acquired at the Sotheby's Sale held at Castle Howard in November 1991.(BA589)
