A rare and lovely quality oak cockfighting chair... this most unusual example is able to rotate 360 degrees and is designed to be able to be sat on facing forward or backwards and has a hidden shelf to the back which can be raised on supports to rest on and write bets, gambling results etc., there are concealed compartments in each arm plus a concealed drawer to the base at the back, the chair is wonderfully ornate with barley twist uprights and handsome carved details upholstered in brown leather with stud detailing, this fabulous chair really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
