Description
Manchester Canal Scene by Robert Whitaker (1929-2014). A local Salford artist and contemporary of L.S.Lowry. it is signed and measure 17 x 23 inches. When he died over 100 pieces of art were found and he only ever sold one painting.He died aged 85 in 2014.
Difficult to date the painting as there is so little known about the artists, Best guess 1960s-70s.
