Retro Chest of Drawers by Esavian c 1950s 1960s designed by James Leonard for the education supply association,
originally made for use in schools

The 20 individual drawers with open cut handles.
Solid beech base and legs original ESA red logo to the under frame
Very stylish and sought after post war industrial design offering lots of storage ideal as a unusual mid century living room sideboard unit.
Construction is solid beech
Condition ex school class room used condition
The original old paint has been hand striped to leave the drawers for a buyer to paint or wax polish
Esavian drawers were made for use in schools considering age and ex school use the condition is good with some signs of age and use which is to expected with vintage school furniture slight traces of paint showing in a few small areas a couple of small chips along the bottom side edges.
