Vintage Gents Black Homburg Hat in good clean condition the hat has a centre crease and silk lining with leather inner rim the outer brim is bound in silk.The hat size is English 6 7/8 in size

The homburg hat was very fashionable in England in the 1920s 1930s between the wars
Neville Chamberlain and Antony Eden wore homburg hats
the hat became so popular that it became known as The Eden or Saville Row the style being similar to the trilby but the homburg having a stiffer more firm fabric.
