Heals Dressing Table by Alfred Cox ( this dressing table has now sold but please see our for sale items for another one we have for sale at the moment) as retailed in the 1950s by Heals and is in lovely light amber coloured satin walnut veneers.The dressing table has a flared shield shape mirror with 3 vanity drawers with original handles and a lovely concealed flared swept full length shaped bottom drawer all the drawers with dovetailed joints the dressing table is on tall typical 1950s flared shaped legs.A iconic piece of vintage 1950s modernist designer furniture dating to the festival of Britain era. Alfred cox was a maker designer of high quality handmade furniture his quality furniture was highly thought of and was retailed through Heals London department store. This modernist vintage retro dressing table is part of a Alfred cox bedroom suite we have in stock at the moment the other pieces of this bedroom suite,consisting of the matching satin walnut wardrobe and tall chest of drawers can be bought as a complete suite of vintage bedroom furniture or as single pieces.All the pieces have the makers name and reg design plates.Alfred cox furniture was made to a high quality the bedroom suite is in very good vintage condition and is ideal for a devotee of vintage fashion or 1950s modernist design period interiors.
