This fine quality study of a pensive young girl in medieval dress, and with long platted hair shows Oge's attention to detail.

Pierre Oge worked in the studios of many fine sculptires of the day to further develop his talent.
For many years he exibited at the paris salon and became member of the Societe Des Artistes Francais.

His talent was duly recognised when he recieved an award for the study (Margurite) as shown here.

Sadly many of Oge's bronze studys were melted down during the german occupation.

This bronze sculpture unites the creative art and fine craftsman and is a thing of beauty.

A real statement piece that will sit well in a contemporary or period home.
