Description

A stunning Queen size Art Deco Bed in figured walnut. The headboard and footboard are both fluted and ebonised to their tops. The footboard is raised on a stunning stepped base which is figured and bookpaged walnut with stunning, swirling grain set above an accent ebonised further step to this plinth. Overall this stunning Queen size bed just oozes curves and vibrancy to the grain. Each fluted section is veneered with individual selected veneer with really interesting grain so that each of the flutes collectively create something stunning. This bed has been traditionally re French polished by hand with many hours of love and attention taken to ensure the grain really pops on this wonderful Art Deco 1930s bed. A substantial and impressive bed with its original vono supports and iron rails onto which fits a custom made pine slatted base.
Having passed through our in house workshops this comes to you in excellent condition, ready for your mattress (not provided).
