Description

A very attractive rectangular, Victorian period, butler’s tray on stand. The mahogany tray has well shaped upstands around the sides and back. The stand consists of nicely turned supports and folds up completely flat. The condition throughout is excellent. Sizes: 29”(74cms) wide, 18 ½ “(46cms) deep. Tray height: 30 ½ (77cms). Overall height: 38”(97cms). Date circa 1880.
I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book. In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
Today, my business is carried out via the internet. Any successful antiques business, and particularly mine, remains a way of life and a hobby, it continues to give me enormous enjoyment and satisfaction.
