Description

A really lovely Iona silver brooch of circular form with two silver thistle heads meeting to support a blue banded agate. The oval agate fades from deep blue to clear and has groups of fine, wavy white lines.

Fully hallmarked for John Hart, Edinburgh, 1963 and stamped "IONA"

Condition - excellent condition, no damage to silver, no repairs
pin and clasp are strong
no damage to agate
hallmarks a little blurry but still legible

Dimensions - Diameter 39mm, Agate 18mm x 9mm
