Description

A lovely 1930’s sculpture of a diving bird on a heavy marble base. Probably French or Italian.

The bird with an attractive dark bronze coloured patina, wings outstretched, is diving into a stylised green wave.

Mounted on a heavy base of black and cream/brown richly-veined marble.

Very 'Deco', very 1930's, very affordable.

Excellent 'antique' condition with no apparent damage. Some extremely minor surface age marks on bird as illustrated. I have not attempted to clean these preferring to sell all items in original antique condition.

Base ~ 410 x 146mm. Height ~ 360mm. Weight ~ 6.kg.
