Description
A striking glass and gilt metal cherub table centrepiece on a marble base.The circular marble base supports a gilded cherub sitting on a cushion and decorated with grapevine and grapes. This in turn supports a very attractive glass bowl with 12 circular facets around its outside and floral pattern to base. A decorative gilt metal filial attaches the bowl to the supporting base.

ConditionNo significant damage to glass, one tiny nibble (barely noticeable) to internal rim. Some wear to gilding on Cherub commensurate with age. Some wear to gilding on retaining filial and residue (not cleaned) from use possibly as a fruit bowl. None of this detracts from the item which displays beautifully. As always, mentioned only for completeness.
