Description

Large 1930s tin plate biplane air line by Mettoy. This one is a true barn find and as such we will leave it to the next owner to preserve, clean, renovate or leave exactly as is to their own tastes.
All original finish and structurally sound with what corrosion there is confined to surfaces. NB white marks on upper starboard wing are household paint or similar.
Motor is complete, has good spring and turns but is dusty and rusty. Main propellor present and turns. Only one of the four strut mounted 'engines has its propellor but will provide a pattern for remaining three. Tail skid is present but missing its small wheel. All assembly tabs are good and untampered with.
No maker's name but 'made in England' on port front side of fuselage
Will improve with patient attention - or display as is.
