An Early 20th Century Painted Pine Railway Warning Sign.

Although not as old as my usual stock i just had to have this for its folky and manly appeal.

Circa 1940 this is a Railway warning sign that is unusual in wood as most were cast but its beauty is the colour .

Painted in a plum shade which is now all crusty with the warning in yellow that no motorcycles are to be ridden beyond this point this sign certainly makes a statement.

In good solid condition with a crusty paint finish .
