Description

A very stylish set of 4 antique William IV chairs in beautifully figured rosewood. A good quality set of dining chairs, with attractively carved backs standing on turned and reeded front legs and sabre legs to the back. With drop in seats which have been newly recovered. Solid and sturdy, although a few old mends to the backs and sides (see photos). Dating from circa 1835.

Beautiful colour and patina to the rosewood. Solid and sturdy. Some old mends to the backs (see photos). Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over existing horsehair upholstery which is sound.
