Description

An elegant set of 4 antique Victorian balloon back chairs in walnut. They have crisply carved crests to the top rails and carved bars to the backs. They stand on slender cabriole legs with shaped feet. The seats have been newly recovered over the existing upholstery which is in fair condition. There frames are fairly solid and sturdy.

The frames are fairly solid and sturdy. One of the chairs has an old mend to the bar back (see photo) Other wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered with new fabric over the existing upholstery which is in fair condition. A few worm holes underneth which have been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
